Daftar — Privacy Policy
What Daftar is
Daftar is a business file-custody tracking application provided to organizations — such as law firms, medical records departments and government archives — to track who physically holds each paper file and where it is located. This policy explains what information Daftar handles and how.
Daftar is provided to you through your organization. Your organization is the controller of the records you create in Daftar; Mady Labs processes that data on its behalf in order to operate the service.
1. Information we handle
- Account information — your email address and display name, used to sign you in.
- Role & organization — your assigned role (admin or user) and your organization identifier, used to control what you can see and do.
- File & custody records — file names and numbers, storage locations, and the history of custody changes (who took, handed off or received a file, and when), including the audit log.
2. Camera
Daftar uses your device camera only to read the QR label on a physical file, on your device. Daftar does not capture, store or transmit photographs or video.
3. How we use information
- To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
- To provide the core service: tracking file custody, transfers, approvals and locations.
- To maintain a permanent, tamper-resistant audit log of custody changes.
4. How information is stored and protected
Data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, which acts as our processor. Access is restricted by row-level security, so you only see data belonging to your organization and permitted by your role. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising. Information is visible only within your organization according to your role, and is processed by our backend provider solely to operate the service.
6. Tracking
Daftar does not track you across other apps or websites, contains no advertising, and uses no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
7. Data retention & your choices
Account and custody records are retained while your organization's account is active. Custody and audit records are kept in order to preserve an accurate chain-of-custody history.
To access, correct or delete your information, contact your organization's administrator or us at the address below. To delete your Daftar account and its associated data, contact your organization's administrator, or email us with the subject "Delete my account" — we will process the request and remove your account within 30 days. Note that file custody and audit records owned by your organization are retained by that organization for chain-of-custody integrity.
8. Children
Daftar is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the effective date above will reflect any change.
